What Is It You Actually Do Here?
A Wier / Stewart Social Media Manager is a creative storyteller, a tribe-builder and someone who knows how to connect with people in a genuine way. This team member will create and execute creative concepts, as well as turn social media data, numbers and analytics into actionable insights while establishing and maintaining relationships with clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Growing social media audiences and engaging with followers to spark genuine conversation.
- Oversee social media content calendars, considering business goals and objectives.
- Regularly engage with our audience through thoughtful, impactful, relationship-driven content.
- Keep up to date with emerging organic social trends and identify new, innovative ways to grow the audience and drive meaningful conversations.
- Serve as client’s point of contact for social media ideation and execution to include: scheduling social photo/video shoots, getting client testimonials, networking with key partners and influencers, coordinating event coverage, etc.
- Lead creative content ideation sessions with internal teams to initiate high-quality, innovative approaches to content generation, ensuring our clients each have an industry-leading social presence.
- Development and deployment of creative content.
- Manage teams and vendors for live event coverage in a way that enhances content opportunities.
- Development of appropriate influencer strategies to promote growth and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the design team to create content, guidelines and standards for social media content.
- Assess the effectiveness of social media strategies, tactics and campaigns and recommend modifications to achieve goals.
- Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities.
- Create comprehensive social media strategies, defining programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all client brands.
- Manage external social partners — Influencers, vendors, clients, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience successfully managing social media for an established brand
- Expert knowledge in Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Content creation experience, such as video creation and editing, photo editing, etc.
- Experience using third-party social media platforms such as Emplifi, Sprout, Hootsuite etc.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt writing styles to suit our brand’s voice and tone
- Ability to meet deadlines and post to social media accounts in real-time
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing teams (Influencer, Digital Media, Creative, etc)
