What Is It You Actually Do Here?
Wier / Stewart is looking for a Social Media Content Creator who lives and breathes creative storytelling. This role sits at the intersection of ideas, culture, and craft—perfect for someone who wants to concept, create, and execute standout social content for a wide range of brands. While the focus is on creativity and content development, the right candidate brings a healthy respect for data, analytics, and performance insights to continually shape and sharpen our work.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the creation of high-quality social content—writing copy, conceptualizing visuals, developing creative concepts, and collaborating with designers, photographers, and videographers.
- Manage the social presence for multiple brands across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
- Stay plugged into culture, trends, and platform updates to create timely, relevant, scroll-stopping content.
- Keep up to date with emerging organic social trends and identify new, innovative ways to grow the audience and drive meaningful conversations.
- Use analytics tools to measure performance, track KPIs, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Lead creative content ideation sessions with internal teams to initiate high-quality, innovative approaches to content generation, ensuring our clients each have an industry-leading social presence.
- Collaborate with account managers and strategists to ensure content aligns with broader marketing goals.
- Engage with communities, monitor conversations, and uphold brand voice and reputation.
- Collaborate with the design team to create content, guidelines and standards for social media content.
- Assess the effectiveness of social media strategies, tactics and campaigns and recommend modifications to achieve goals.
- Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities.
- Create comprehensive social media strategies, defining programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all client brands.
- Manage external social partners — influencers, vendors, clients, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience successfully managing social media for an established brand
- Expert knowledge in Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Content creation experience, such as video creation and editing, photo editing, etc.
- Experience using third-party social media platforms such as Emplifi, Sprout, Hootsuite etc.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt writing styles to suit our brand’s voice and tone
- Ability to meet deadlines and post to social media accounts in real-time
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing teams (Influencer, Digital Media, Creative, etc.)
