4th State by Dalton Brewing Company
Yes we can.
This collaboration with our friends at Dalton Brewing Co. started as a tribute to our state and ended up as a crisp and refreshing craft brew. Inspired by Georgia and Dalton Brewing Co’s design aesthetic, the 4th State Session IPA is a victory in brewing wisdom which might be a little iffy on the whole moderation thing. A salute to the flag and a nod to DBC’s leanings toward scale and typography, it’s meant to feel equally at home in state and in brewery.
'Tis the Season for Tapping
As the 4th state admitted to the union, the moniker for this beer born and bred in Georgia was a perfect fit. The colors and waves in the design of the can and poster are evocative of our flag. And the tap handle, well that's pretty obvious. As a brew meant for the summer, beer's most popular season, this libation is a miraculous accomplishment, great for crushing after mowing the lawn or having a bull session with friends.
Ask your favorite watering hole to snag a keg before it's out of session, available statewide through Savannah Distributing.
It’s Oglethorpe Approved
Not only was James Oglethorpe the founder Georgia, he established our fair city of Augusta. Since his statue resides right down the block from us (in the Commons he himself designed), we thought we'd bring him a sample of our work inspired by his. Compared to the beer they had at the time, we're sure he'd find it transcendent.
