Belltower Student Foundation Branding



You rang? 

The Belltower Student Foundation is a mentor-led organization at Augusta University, comprised of students who join a philanthropic board and invest a real-life endowment for the benefit of campus and community. Their goal is not only to help worthy causes in our area, but to demystify the world of philanthropy, foundations, boards and financial stewardship.

We worked with Belltower to both name their organization, and craft a stand-out visual identity that arrests the short attention spans of students with high demands on their time. We ultimately settled on the name "Belltower" because of Augusta University's eponymous monument, and because they have a message of philanthropy to ring out across the city.



In this endeavor, walking the tightrope of looking elite, but not elitist; smart but not alienating to newcomers, is key. An icon and wordmark that leans traditional, but paired excitingly with bold and unexpected brand elements gives Belltower a stand-out visual identity sure to capture the short attention spans of our busy target audience.
