One Heckuva Mulligan

Front 9 is occupying a very nuanced space. They’re in a place of honoring the prestige of the game of golf and the clubs that host it (and looking like a coffee at home in that space) while, at the same time, tipping their caps to the pleasures of the game and a great cup of Joe. That being said, their original identity just wasn't getting that across. To elevate the brand, we were asked to redesign it. Our approach was all about balance, just like a golf swing. The above par result (always a strange expression as this is technically bad in golf but good everywhere else) is built to appeal to the common ground between the weekend warrior and the club pro. Hence the birdie.

As always, taking a branding project all the way out means making it beautiful online. This is particularly crucial when the site is built to sell. The new home of Front 9 is an easy, handsome user experience — no doubt made so in large part to the fun and fantastic photography. And, at the end of the day, the coffee is fantastic.
