Georgia Cyber Center Video
A Video of Epic Proportions
For the ribbon cutting of the Shaffer MacCartney building, which makes up the second half of the Georgia Cyber Center, we were asked to create the biggest (metaphorically and physically) video we've ever done. Not only were we dealing with a massive digital canvas, we were tasked with articulating the vision, culture and importance of the facility, and of cyber in general, for our community, region and nation.
High-Lighting Up the Evening
Our video set the tone for the ribbon cutting's celebration of technology and collaboration. Looping on a near 32-foot-wide screen via NanoLumens, the vignettes featuring key strengths of the Georgia Cyber Center created an inspiring backdrop for the reception.
The Challenge
Our Solve
We created our video to function as a series of vignettes - to act as an art installation. This was to follow both the design of the Georgia Cyber Center itself and to mimic the gallery-like feeling created by the local artwork throughout the space. We mixed high contrast, tech-heavy animation with colorful breaks, dynamic transitions and 4K natural imagery to create an almost 5 minute continuously looping piece that makes sense whether you see 2 minutes or 2 seconds.
Want to see the video in all its glory?
Visit the Shaffer MacCartney Building at the Georgia Cyber Center. We highly recommend you do it at night. And, while you're there, pick up some coffee from Buona Cafe.
