Good Works Visual Identity

Your Cause Is Their Cause

Victoria Prevatt has been immersed in the world of nonprofits and fundraising for most of her career. In 2017, she struck out on her own to start Good Works, a nonprofit coaching/counseling business that serves organizations in North Georgia. She provides custom solutions to each of her clients as they work to do good, and we jumped at the chance to give Good Works a shiny, new visual identity.

Don't call her a consultant.

Victoria isn't really a fan of the word "consultant." Once we knew that, we knew we had some freedom to fun this one up. Our word mark is playful and approachable (notice the subtle smile?) while still establishing Victoria as an expert in her field. She's going to work tirelessly to improve your organization so you can make a big impact, but you're going to enjoy the process. Our color palette speaks to this with a grounding hunter green as the primary and a spectrum of vibrant secondary colors that evoke spring—growth and rebirth.

A Grand Old Flag

When you work with Good Works, they take up the cause of your organization—your banner, if you will. We tied in this idea with a flag motif. First, with a tweaked version of the Good Works wordmark, and then with a flag icon and repeating pattern. Our flag icon can be used when a full wordmark isn't needed or when being used in a tiny space (like a social media profile pic).

"What a treat to work with this team! They are clever, intuitive and thoughtful—and, honestly, fun! I’ve so enjoyed working with this crew. They were the breath of fresh air that my business needed!"

"When I got briefed on this project, I could see the letterforms in my head. I knew they needed to be open and approachable and positive, but strong. After several days of trying different approaches we went with one of the first ones I got out of my head. Eventually you learn to trust your gut as a designer."
