The Halle Foundation Inaugural Publication

Binding Pages (and People) Together

Founded by former Coca-Cola International President Claus Halle in 1986, the Atlanta-based Halle Foundation is a vehicle for supporting and strengthening the relationship between the United States and Germany for the long term. To capture a broader audience with the Foundation's mission, message and resources, we designed a beautiful and engaging (synonymously named) quarterly magazine.

It Looks Good on Paper

Classic design is combined with bright pops of yellow, black and red—a subtle nod to the German flag. Clean, powerful layouts and strong photography guide the reader through the Foundation's latest grants, events and news, and all the typefaces used are by German designers or foundries. A well-crafted print piece in a world of breakneck digital speed is a powerful and memorable brand touchpoint.

"Wier / Stewart helped us craft an excellent first edition newsletter that has revitalized our Foundation's communication efforts. Our Trustees were thrilled when they saw it, and we have received many heartfelt emails congratulating us on such a beautiful publication. We were most impressed with the small details they added, without prompting, that took it to the next level. For us, this first edition is the start of a bountiful new working relationship, and we are already hard at work to start our second edition!"

Anthony Pellingra / Deputy Director

"A thoughtfully-designed print piece really stands out these days amongst the mile-a-minute digital landscape of phone-scrolling. The intentional experience of a longer-format piece like this magazine is a great way to ensure a brand and message stick in an audience's mind."
