Bottle Top (of the Game)

For decades the team at Riverside Refreshments has been serving up drinks, snacks and all forms of break-time excellency throughout the Augusta region. From 1935 to 2020 the team at Riverside Refreshments has been known by many names and worn multiple hats —Dixie Riverside, A&A Vending Services, Dixie Riverside Beverage —and it was finally time to consolidate under one cohesive umbrella.

Good Taste

Name in hand, we were tasked to create something that spoke to the future of this company while still hearkening back to their long history of satisfying the hunger and thirst of their customers for decades. A strong wordmark, descriptive badge and soon to be iconic icon made up our snack-able trio. This versatile brand can stretch across all Riverside Refreshments’ markets and stand strong when paired with the national brands and products they provide.

A Refreshing New Look

Establishing a pallet and style that would not be lost or overwhelmed by the classic brands they carry was no small feat. We wanted to create something that would be unique and own-able by Riverside Refreshments, enter our dark green and peachy orange. Both subtle nods to their Southern roots, while being different enough to stand out when side by side with some of the heavy hitters like RC Cola, Canada Dry and A&W, without being overwhelmed.

“The folks at Riverside have had a rich history in the snack and beverage community for generations, and to reflect that we wanted to give them a timeless identity to match. A strong custom wordmark and a new badge for backup, was just the formula needed to keep them trucking for years to come.”
