Set ‘em Up and Knock ‘em Back

When Greg Hodges of Stokes Hodges Auto Group approached us about handling the creative for his Guitar Pull sponsorship, we were, pardon the pun, stoked. We were tasked with coming up with something that would be very different, whose point was not to sell cars and trucks but endear the audience to the client. So, we incorporated altruism, country music, local celebrities and a super fun platform to produce Guitar Pool Carpool: a karaoke contest between Vera Stewart and Brad Means, hosted by Greg Hodges. The spots were shown during the show and the audience voted on the winner, whose cause would receive $2,500 from Stokes Hodges. It was down to the wire, and because Greg is not only a great client but a great guy, both charities won the money and some priceless exposure. This is one of those cases where great things happen when everyone goes all out.
