Augusta Technical College Rebrand

Technically Speaking
60 years into their exciting story, it was time Augusta Tech’s brand reflect the professionalism, passion and impact they’ve had on the Augusta community and beyond. We rebuilt their identity from the ground up, using an extensive toolkit to re-engineer each touchpoint, communicating clearly and boldly who they are and what they stand for.


The two legs lean on and support one another—a visual metaphor for Augusta Tech and its graduates supporting and existing as an integral, keystone part of our city. The smaller leg, Augusta Tech, upholds the larger Augusta community and economy.



We’ve designed a new expression of the school seal to complement the brand, inspired by Augusta Tech’s history. Founded in the 1960’s, an era of simple and bold design, we’ve referenced that zeitgeist to give the seal an air of historic authority.



When it comes to athletics, only ferocity will suffice. We’ve given the Cougar more teeth—literally. He’s game-ready for all current and future sports, as well as for general school spirit.
