The Fix is In.
Unlocking the potential for self-directed, local media buying has been in the crosshairs of the leadership at Hudson MX for over a decade. When they had finally cracked the code to empower media buyers, they brought us in to bring their new challenger brand to life. Dynamic and exciting, the identity for this heretofore mysterious entity evokes a spirit of friendly change. The end users can trust it, but other companies in the space better watch out.
“If you take a good look at the mark, you’ll see the letters ‘HMX’ create the form. An ‘X’ is made by the wide ‘M’ and its reflection. An abstract ‘H’ is formed on each side in the negative space, with two hidden arrows representing exchange. Pretty nifty.”

Game Changer.
As part of our explorations around the brand, we illustrated several paradigm shifting technologies for use in collateral materials. You know, like the cassette tape below (game changer) and the flux capacitor above (game re-arranger). All part of creating the correct tone for a serious, yet slightly irreverent, identity for Hudson MX.
For our visual identity presentation, we created cryptic, teaser ad mockups all over NYC of the company’s core values. Cause, why not?
