Listerhill Home Grown Loans
Market Fresh
When it was time for perennial partner Listerhill Credit Union to launch a new mortgage campaign, we took our primary inspiration from their renowned local, friendly and knowledgeable service. With the added differentiator that members’ mortgages would stay with Listerhill—their mortgage would never be sold to another bank—we created an authentic campaign that celebrates all things local, handmade and homegrown.
Cross-Platform
Because we love infusing authenticity into our work, in the spirit of handcrafted-ness we designed and embroidered a cross-stitch hoop with messaging that we then photographed and used in a variety of multimedia ads. Just like grandma used to do.
Home-Growing
Our salt-of-the-earth campaign meets at the overlap of blue collar and millennial, speaking to both audiences. Handcrafted visuals feel authentic, reflecting Listerhill’s persona, and keep Listerhill’s mortgage program top of mind for Tennessee-and-Alabam-ians finding home.
“Wier/Stewart outdid themselves in creating a unique look and copy that not only delivered cutting edge design, but incorporated elements that were retro, local, and memorable. There are parts of this campaign that we have adopted into our everyday presentation of our mortgage products. The effectiveness of this campaign helped us deliver the most successful mortgage lending year in Listerhill’s history, and we have already started off 2022 with the best results we have ever had.”

Guerilla Market-ing
Taking it to the streets. We pitched a farmers market booth as the perfect local tie-in and cheeky touch to the campaign, with cool giveaways like shopping bags, and real “Heirloom Deeds” seed packets stuffed with all the good info about Listerhill Mortgages.
“We’ve taken what is unique about Listerhill, and expressed that in an authentic and fresh way. We enjoyed infusing this campaign with personality and humor that a serious subject, mortgages, so often lacks.”
