A Heritage Worth Celebrating
Charlie Yates is undoubtedly one of the best amateurs to ever play the game. A protegee of Bobby Jones, he twice won the Walker Cup as captain and was the Low Am at the Masters an unbelievable 5 times. In reimagining the identity for East Lake’s old number two course, we wanted to create a timeless mark that paid homage to Charlie Yates. The result touts his name in full, the founding of the course, and keeps an amateur status humbleness about it, while firmly establishing it as a historic and important part of golf.
Our Swing Thought On The Site
Simple and easy. Like the game of golf itself (yeah right). We’re looking to increase rounds played and lessons booked. The site was designed to encourage a user-flow that would produce leads for those two KPIs.
