Riverside Refreshments gets social.
Now that’s a thirst trap.
Riverside Refreshments
The team at Riverside Refreshments have been quenching the thirst of the greater Augusta area since before pop came in aluminum cans. Their products and suite of services have evolved with the taste buds of their clients, so it was time for their identity to adapt to the changing market as well.

What’s the plan?
The re-brand served multiple purposes: consolidating the organizational structure, revamping their digital presence, establishing them as a lead employer in the area and building community pride and recognition.
Why us?
As fellow homers for the community, huge fans of their work (check out our vending machine next time you’re in) and folks that love brands more than most else, it was a better marriage then Cheerwine and fiz.
How did we do it?
Creating a new brand mark was just step one for this team, how that brand is seen and loved by all was what came next. From launching the identity to their internal team and the community, to literally rolling it out on the side of trucks, we wanted to ensure their brand was seen. And what better way to ensure everyone sees your brand than with killer social media.
Zero to Hero
The Riverside Refreshments brand strategy is all about taking a back seat to their partner’s brand. You know and love them. I mean, who’s mad at Cheerwine. Nobody. We wanted to feature the products that have endeared and leverage their brand equity to build a social audience for our client.
Magic Metrics
Social media is no longer Riverside Refreshments’ final frontier. In just three short months, we received:
14,227 impressions
784 engagements
90% audience growth
Making Waves
Having phenomenal content was only phase one for us. Phase two was getting it noticed. We’ll let our engagements speak for themselves, especially the ones with our “big brother brands”.
Call Us Anytime
Just a little collaboration request we received from Canada Dry. No big deal.
Bringing the Fire
We see you Polar Seltzer. Feel free to creep on our feed anytime you’d like.
Cheers to You
Hello heart eyes. Cheerwine what’s the next recipe we can collab on?
Brand Refresh
For a community staple, Riverside Refreshments was relatively unknown in the community. Their services were seen and appreciated, the products they sold promoted and loved, but their brand itself was lost in the shuffle. Not any more. With a strong icon, a clear mark and a cohesive look across all lines of business, Riverside Refreshments won’t be on the bench anymore.
First Impressions
Consistent branding both on the road and back at HQ was a key component of establishing Riverside Refreshments’ new identity. Their trucks are a rolling billboard for the brands they carry, so we thought they should represent Riverside at the same time.
And nothing says “Hello, New Brand” like a new sign. We decked out their home base, with a classy seal at the front door and craftily made use of their existing infrastructure by wrapping their utility boxes.
All Dressed Up With Everywhere to Go
Outfitting the fleet with the new brand didn’t stop with the trucks. Riverside Refreshments’ employees rep the brand, so they had to look good doing it. Shout out to Showpony for all the apparel, 2020 accessories and of course koozies.
Perspectives
“Riverside Refreshment social media allows our team to push our creative bounds with such a variety of great products. One of our favorite things is seeing the work used by other people! Making connections and growing is what social media is for and we love seeing that put into play on this account.”
– Stacie McBride / Social Media Manager & Strategiset
"We are very excited about our new brand. Wier / Stewart did a great job of making our vision a reality!”
– Heath Perry / Riverside Refreshments Vice President
“The folks at Riverside have had a rich history in the snack and beverage community for generations, and to reflect that we wanted to give them a timeless identity to match. A strong custom wordmark and a new badge for backup, was just the formula needed to keep them trucking for years to come.”
