Crawford Square Moonlight Movies

Spoiler Alert

In 2021, we designed the EastChase "Moonlight Movies" logo to hit a certain nostalgia over the golden days of drive-ins and moviegoing. Since then, the program has expanded to two Crawford Square properties.

When promoting the individual summer showings, we thought it appropriate for the visual language of the films to take center stage. For one screening, an era-style, custom illustration of Audrey Hepburn (in Tiffany-blue, no less) pairs with typography inspired by the type in the film's title, over a starfield background that evokes a nighttime drive-in theater experience. BYO pastry.

For fan-fav Talladega Nights, we took inspiration from the original movie poster, and the spirit of 'Merica. 'Nuff said.

"I remember the first time I had the opportunity to stand outside the Tiffany's window and wished I had a bagel. I just wanted to capture that magic in these elements. Colors and type were all pulled from an opening frame of the movie."
