Doorpost Management hires W/S to upgrade their brand identity, sales collateral and website.
How many doors you got? It's a question you've probably never heard. Unless, you happen to manage or own apartments. "Doors" are what investors refer to when they're talking about apartment units. Multi-family real estate slang, ya see?
But the origin of Doorpost started way before Jordan Collier came up with his new venture's name. Collier Management has been around the CSRA since 1972. A lot has changed since then, including the market and how property management companies adapt its constant change.
Our clients, Jordan and Paul needed a fresh approach that differentiated their company from the rest.
The Challenge
This ain't your grandfather's property management company. This is a team of experienced real estate professionals with a track record of lowering ownership costs (resulting in higher investor profitability). And, their passion for the profession is refreshing. Better yet, they're as transparent and approachable as your grandfather probably was. That's good for the owners AND their tenants.
Speaking of, every design decision that was made while creating this visual identity had three tenets in mind. Make it approachable, different and meaningful.
Our Solve
We created a brand mark and color palette that distinguishes Doorpost from the competition. The logo itself is a conversation starter into the deeper meaning of the company name. We won't spoil the surprise, just ask Jordan.
Online, the brand needed to live on a sleek and responsive (mobile-friendly) site that was easy to navigate and was instantly recognizable as "not like the other guys". Trust us, just google the other guys.
We also needed a succint way for potential investors to understand the doorpost model. That's where our friendly services video comes into play (see it here).
